Our property, like many around us, contains apple trees that were not planted as an orchard, but rather popped up naturally over the decades. You see them in many meadows and fields in rural areas. This one, living on a meadow in a farm in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, ermerged as the subject of this piece as the painting progressed. “Wild Apple” 36 x 36 o/c.
