New: “Tenants Harbor”

One of my favorite artists growing up (and now) is Jamie Wyeth. As a kid, I studied books of his work, many pieces of which were lighthouses, including the house and light he owns in Tenants Harbor, Maine. I follow an instagram feed by his niece, @victoriabrowningwyeth, where she shares his (and father Andrew’s) works, many being pieces I’ve never seen. Buty in a recent post, she shared a painting Jamie did of this very place,…a piece that had been one of my favorites growing up. That post inspired my interpretation of his iconic Maine home. “Tenants Harbor” 30 x 40 o/c.
