New: “New Englander”

Everywhere in New England, old rural farms often share a commonality in their architecture. Their classic architectural style is simple, with clean lines, and a look that indicates a puritanical goal of creating structures that were sturdy and practical. This simple design is so prevalent and recognizable, that in real estate, homes are often referred to as “New Englanders”. This old farm is a classic example. I found this place over 15 years ago, on Cape Cod. It was abandoned and run down. But in the past couple of years, someone bought it, and restored it, keeping the look of the original century-old house as it had been built originally. “New Englander” 24 x 24 o/c.
