This piece was done as a commission for a couple who have, over the years, lovingly restored an old farm in Maine, converting the structure into a sprawling piece or architecture, but maintains the old, simple lines, of 19th century New England farmhouse construction. The acreage is, I’m told, loaded with tall bush blueberries, which found their way into the composition in an imagined way. “Maineland” 30 x 55 o/c
